The Cottages on Charleston Harbor

The Cottages on Charleston Harbor, located on historic Patriots Point, are arranged just yards from the water's edge and offer our guests a private, waterfront oasis with breathtaking views of Charleston harbor, downtown, and historic Ft. Sumter.

Each cottage has a well thought out, spacious, floor plan that includes approximately 1400 square feet of beautifully appointed living space.

The Cottages offers the space of a vacation home rental with high speed wireless internet, pool and free parking. With space for up to 6 guests each Cottage.

Charleston, SC has been a busy port town since shortly after its founding in 1670. The working harbor is home to Ft Sumter, sailing enthusiast, native wildlife, and ships arriving from all over the world. Our busy working harbor contains a wealth of scenery, grab a rocking chair and take in the sites.

Living Room

Heart pine flooring welcomes you as you enter the foyer, and proceed into the center of the cottage, the living room and kitchen area. The living room is dressed with fine designer furnishings and boast cathedral ceilings, seasonal gas fireplaces and a wall of windows, running the length of the room, allowing spectacular, sprawling views of the harbor or lagoon.

Curl up on the couch in front of a toasty gas fireplace and enjoy your favorite shows on our flat screen HD satelliteTV or sample a few melodies on the Bose stereo sound system from our in cottage selection.

Private Screened-In Porch

All of our Cottages feature a private screened-in porch, running the full length of the Cottage. For our Harbor front units this is only yards from the water's edge, with our Lagoon View the porch offers a secluded relaxing retreat. Complete with a table and chairs, rocking chairs and hammock, we promise you will have a hard time departing from this comfy and relaxing respite. Many of our guests have lofty plans of tours and excursions, but find this relaxing space hard to beat.

Kitchen

Attached to the living area is a large, open kitchen that comes fully equipped to serve up to six guests. Each kitchen offers a 12 cup drip coffee maker, oven, cooktop, microwave, blender, dishwasher and refrigerator, along with everything you need to prepare a full meal. Plus enjoy a special blend of coffee from Charleston Coffee Exchange available in each Cottage.

Please note: For Instacart or other grocery delivery services check in as after 4pm. Please do not plan to have your groceries delivered prior to this time and take care to place the registered guests name on your delivery.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the third full size bathroom, as well as, a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience.

Master Bedroom

Each Cottage offers a split floor plan, on one side of the cottage lies the master bedroom which includes a king-size bed with a deluxe mattress, generous closet space, ceiling fan, in-room safe and a flat screen HD satellite TV. Beautiful French doors lead out onto the screened-in porch. Guests can wake up to a gorgeous, Charleston sunrise without ever rising from the comfort of their bed.

The spacious master bathroom features a jetted or soaking tub, glassed walk-in shower, double sinks and designer amenities.

Guest Bedroom

On the other side of the Cottage's split floor plan lies allows each guest staying in the cottage the opportunity to retreat and relax in their own private space. The second bedroom features two queen beds, a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo, flat screen HD satellite TV, ceiling fan and French doors that lead onto the screened-in porch.

This charming cottage has two bedrooms, each with a private bath as well as a third full bath just off the kitchen. The great room (living room) opens to the fully equipped kitchen. The great room also has a working gas fireplace (operational during our cooler months). There are a total of three beds, one king bed and two queen size beds. The screened porch runs the length of the cottage and is very private. A great place to relax. Here you will be entertained by herons, cranes and pelicans. Turtles are also plentiful in our lagoon.
